Turfgrasses
While Smith Seed is well known for our Turf-Type Tall Fescues, we also supply domestic and interational customers with top ranking as well as common varieties of Perennial Ryegrass, Fine Fescue, Kentucky Bluegrass,Bentgrass, and Bermudagrass seeds.
Forage Grasses
Many of our forage grass varieties are noted and chosen for their top yields, high quality, and longevity. We also are a major source for public varieties of Annual and Perennial Ryegrass, Orchardgrass, Tall Fescue, and Festulolium grass seeds.
Clovers and Alfalfas
Whether the application is for forage production or wildlife allurement, we are a major supplier of numerous clover types including Alsike, Arrowleaf, Berseem, Crimson, Dutch White, Ladino, Medium Red, and Subterranean Clover. We also supply common and proprietary Alfalfas.
Cover Crops
For decades we have been providing numerous species that are now experiencing renewed interest for cover crop use. These include Annual Ryegrass, Buckwheat, Annual Clover, Common and Hairy Vetch, Oat, Pea, Rape, Radish, Trefoil, and Turnip seeds.
