Excellent Vigor - Late Maturity

Kenway was bred by the University of Kentucky's Dr. Norm Taylor. Dr. Taylor specifically bred Kenway for improved resistance to clover mosaic virus, mildew resistance, and southern anthracnose while still being able to produce similar yields to Kenland.  And that’s just what the first three years of data shows in Lexington.  Kenway has great yields, even out to the third year.  High yields in the later years are usually indicators that a variety has greater resistance to pests and diseases.
