Alfalfa Multi-Strain™ Rhizobia

Our Multi-Strain™ technology for alfalfas is an exclusive blend of four rhizobium strains, developed from over 30 years of research. NITRO-COAT’S four-strain rhizobium is an added insurance policy. Multi-Strain™ is available only with our Nitro-Coat coating.

Alfalfa and Sweet Clover
PRE-VAIL clay-based OMRI Listed®

Contains Sinorhizobium meliloti rhizobium. Treats all varieties of Alfalfa, Yellow alfalfa, Yellow sweet clover, White sweet clover, Hubam sweetclover, Button clover, Bitter clover, Black medic, Fenugreek, Tubercle bur-clover, Tifton bur-clover, Snail bur-clover, Little bur-clover, California bur-clover, Spotted bur-clover. Organic approved.

Alfalfa/True Clover Combination
Choose from N-DURE peat-based or PRE-VAIL clay-based OMRI Listed®

Contains Sinorhizobium meliloti (alfalfa) and Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar trifolii (Clover). Treats all varieties of Alfalfa and True Clover. Organic approved.

True Clover
PRE-VAIL clay-based OMRI Listed®

Contains leguminosarum biovar trifolii (Clover). Treats all varieties of Alsike clover, Seaside clover, Large hop clover, Cluster clover, Hop clover, Berseem clover, White clover, Puff clover, Red clover, Ladino, Carolina clover, Crimson clover, Ball clover, Small hop clover, Persian clover, Rabbitfoot clover, Hungarian clover, Bigflower clover, Zig Zagg clover. Organic approved.

Subterranean and Rose Clover
Choose from N-DURE peat-based or PRE-VAIL clay-based

Contains Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar trifolii (subterraneum). Treats all varieties of Subterranean Clover and Rose Clover.

Arrowleaf Clover
Choose from N-DURE peat-based or PRE-VAIL clay-based

Contains Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar trifolii (vesiculosum). Treats all varieties of Arrowleaf including Yuchi, Meechi, Apache, and Amclo.

Birdsfoot Trefoil
Choose from N-DURE peat-based or PRE-VAIL clay-based

Contains Mesorhizobium loti. Treats all varieties of both Narrow-Leaf and Broad-Leaf Birdsfoot. Organic approved.

Peas, Vetch and Lentils
N-DURE peat-based OMRI Listed®

Contains Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar viceae. Treats all varieties of Austrian winter pea, Hairy vetch, Sweet pea, Tangier pea, Garden pea, Rough pea, Field pea, Flat pea, Purple vetch, Faba bean, Manantha vetch, Narrowleaf vetch, Common vetch, and Lentil. Organic approved.

Crownvetch
N-DURE peat-based

Contains Rhizobium sp. Treats all varieties of crownvetch.

Garden Combination
GUARD-N OMRI Listed® or N-DURE

Contains a combination of Bradyrhizobium sp. (Vigna), Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar viceae, and Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar phaseoli. Treats all varieties of Cowpeas, Sweet peas, Lima beans, Garden peas, Garden beans, and Peanuts. Organic approved.
